Default g14 dies intermitently

I have a g14 that dies every once in a while. You will be riding along and it will start skipping then die. I tend to think it is an electrical problem. Maybe a short? I wiggle all the wires and after a bit it comes out of it. Is there any certain wire that may be bothering, or do I have some other kind of problem?

make shure the vacuume lines going to the fuel pump, and the fuel lines are all good looking, sounds to me like it's running out of fuel.

My G1 was doing this the other day. It turned out to be a bad connection at the coil so I soldered on a new wire and it works perfect now.

Some Yamaha TCI's can lose a solder joint on the printed circut board after a period of run time and you lose spark, then when it cools down the solder joint reconnects and you have spark again. Buy yourself a "dynamic spark tester" 10 to 15 dollars at an auto parts store, just plug it into the cap and the spark plug and run the car (on jackstands or in neutral) till it starts to act up, it will show you if there is a lack of spark. There is no test for the TCI, it is the last thing on the "string" that could cause a lose of spark. Hope that helped alittle.
