Default Got a ?

OK, I'll try to make this a short. Wife for Xmass surprises me with A G9. She knows I can't leave anything alone. I drive it to the end of the road and back and goes on the lift for a complete restore. It is in pretty good shape BUT it's a Great bug fogger. Instead of rebuilding the tired 295 I took a day to drive over to meet Don Plowman and check out his shop. The man has soo much knowledge in that head he should eXplode! So after picking his brain for awhile I traded the old 295 for a 300 he had just got done with(total rebuild). I also bought his clutch setup, motor mounts, header, limit cable, air, gas filters, ect.

I get the car road worthy and it purrs like kitten. I do some tweaking and play with the Gov. For the heck of it, I put on a Speed Spring and did some more tweaking. At this time I am running the stock size tires at correct pressure. I hit the road with my GPS to get a base to work off of. 28/29mph with my fat,,,,my Viking stature,,,,390...

Last week I finally get my wheels and tires put on, 25"x10.5's at 16lbs. I hit the street to check the power loss.
NONE. This thing is running like a big dog! I haven't had a chance to GPS It, to much 5.0 traffic going on. I know it will hit 35mph easily .

Is this normal? Or do I have a Mutaint? Or is it Plowmans Majik?

My motor is bone stock, have the speed spring, and the cluth power spring. It hits 4300 rpm, and with 22's I GPS about 26 mph. Maybe my G8 is sick????

I haven' had a break in the weather here, in fact it suppose to rain every day till Mon. Soon is I can I'll GPS it. I did get my flairs in today and installed. Not that bad to mod the G14-G22's to fit the G9. Thats what the cart needed, just was missing something.
Just need the 1-1/2" spacers for the front and seat belts then it's time to start on the front brush guard. Yup......addicted!
