Default G1 shoe ramps

Hello everyone, im going to change my shoe ramps on my 81 g1, im confused, how many shoes are there, 3 total? 6 total? One sponser says 3 per cart, mine are broke off, i only see 3 on the nut side of the clutch, any answers would b helpful. I orderd a puller today. Thanks

G1s run 6 shoes.... because of how the motor runs backwards for reverse. Four strokes run 3 shoes because the secondary is always turning in the same direction.

G1's run six. And take off the sheave, it is much easier to replace the shoes. Also make sure youer outer and clutch sheave are good. It wont take long for the shoes to melt right off!!! Use a punch the size of the hole that is angled toremove the old one and then put the new on and be carefull one hammering it back on. Doesnt take much for them to break.
