G1 Wiring Questions
Hey Everyone, couple questions about wiring up some accessories.
I am going to be adding a Horn, Headlights, Taillights, and an Amp that I can plug an ipod into. What is the best way to wire that stuff? I was looking at the wiring and dont know if i should just come right from the positive/negative terminals on the battery and go to my switches for the accessories, or do you need to go from one of the solenoids there? Also, could I run 1 wire from the battery to the dash, then split that wire to power all 3 of my accessories? Thanks! |

Re: G1 Wiring Questions
You can go straight from the battery, If your going to run 1 wire up to the dash I recommend using a heavier gauge for that main wire...by a fuse block to hook that too. Then run all your accessories from that block up near the dash, that way you and all your add-ons are protected!

OK I can do the fuse block, I like that idea. Any idea what guage of wire to run from the battery to the fuse block?
