That is going to be a tough one..there usually is a lot of opinion one way or another.

If you are looking at modifications in the future..you might want to look at pricing and installation situations to make a decision..

For instance, some folks don't like aluminum frame golf carts, and some do.

Take a look at the sponsor links and look at items for your cart..look at pics of the different ones, and a lot of your decision, if you have the levity to do so, will be based on appearance..at least it is for me.

Some carts just don't look cool to me, but they do to others.. :)

Regards.

There are many devout and solid Yamaha owner/developers on here.. lol, so you shouldn't have a problem with that.

I just built a G22 for somebody. It is far superior to my g8, so I would suggest you get the newest one you can afford! My G22 build starts on page 444 in the G8 club, if you care to read my comments and pictures.

what about the G19's? Got a line on one of those also. Its a 98 I think. Any better or worse then the G22's?

Here I go, talking out both sides of my mouth! I think a 16 is the best car out there!! The 22 I just did was an 05, in very good machinical condition!! Wilth rack and pinion steering! But a 16 has an A arm sus. that I like! The 22 has big cubic inches, you can feel the torque pull all through the RPM band! So still a toss up for me!

Ya know, thinking it over, maybe one of each might be the way ta go!!

I just like the lift options for the 16 better. Only lift I see me buying for the G22 is the spindle lift. Dont want to do a 700$$ longtravel. Heard the G22's have great power though.

Spindle lift is ok, but ugly! but the car is solid and fast, as well as handling good! But I only put a 3" lift on it. mine has a 6". And all I did was turn up the gov.on the 22! Older couple will be driving it.

Is the other car a 16 or 19?
