G2A backfiring, won't run
good fire but won't run, backfiring when taking off.

Sounds like a throttle cable adjustment. Make the carb butterfly is opening and closing all the way with the gas pedal.

I agree with Ron. I was getting a backfire like this on my G16 when my throttle cable had too much tension on the throttle linkage. If that doesn't fix it, get some carb cleaner spray and thoroughly clean the inside of the carb, jets, and passages to make sure everything is good there.
