I am fairly confident that the rear-end oil in my G8 is 18 years old so I want to change it. Where is the drain plug for the gear oil? How much does it take? I think I read that it takes 0.85qt but am not sure. I am just putting some standard 85wt dino gear oil in it.

#17 is the drain plug. #7 is where to fill it (pull the rubber vent out) #19 is the full level. (pull the bolt out and fill until it runs out) |
