hello i,m new to this so here goes i have a 98 yamaha g-16 with clutch carb filter no govenor 6 inch lift 22 inch tires i replaced the input shaft but now when iam at full speed on an incline it pops out of gear i let off the gas and it pops back in any ideas on what i did wrong

I would start by checking the shifter cables. They may need an adjustment. |

i dont think its the cables because the shifter doesnt move it makes a horiblle noise like the shaft is trying to walk out or something
