Default Windshield pros and cons

I was thinking of getting a folding wind shield. Should I get tinted or none tinted? Also can the cart be trailerd at high way speeds with it folded? do some work better with three sided enclosures than others?

Thanks in advance for you opinions guys

I like the tinted, I think they hide the scratches better.
Most windshield scratches occur during cleaning. Use a hose two wash the windshield before using a cloth.
You can trailer of golf cart with the windshield. If you want to have it in the folded down position make sure you secure it down so that it doesn't flip up at speed

Now I like the clear ... We do a lot of night riding . And with a tinted windshield at night is like wearing sun glasses ...

I don't have a windshield on my current buggy but my old ezgo had a solid (non-folding) one and I lost it while trailering it. Wind sucked it right out of the plastic side brackets.

Tinted is the best for Florida. To avoid the siper-web marks; used ZEP vinyl cleaner. Available at Lowe's or Home Depot.

Being in FL as well we always go with tinted, it helps with our afternoon rain storms to have a windshield, trailering with a windshield is fine as long as its folded down, big don't load your cart backwards or it will end up on the side of the interstate...

Being a South Floridian and night cruiser, we prefer the clear windshield. As far as cleaning, I've always used lots of water to break the heavy dirt loose, then a little soap and water. I'm not sure of specialized cleaners, simply because of the chemical ingredients possibly damaging the windshield.

Problem here is the ride is way hotter with one, more dust and exhaust to. The key seems to be having it open at the bottom or use a partial one. Nobody uses rainx? I use that on everything the dirt falls off, even on headlights. Car wax can also help.
