I am new to carts and engine repair as a whole. My G2 engine was running but was not producing enough power to move. I took my carb apart and cleaned it,(rebuilt?), replaced fuel and air filters, and spark plug. In a nut shell, I did a tune up. When I finished up it ran again so I took it around the neighborhood a few times. It ran fine at first and then it started to seem that it was losing power. Just before getting into the garage it was back to not moving. I pushed it into the garage and adjusted the gas air mixture needle and it started to rev up again. So my question is, what do I need to look at fixing if this is going to be a continuing problem? Thanks for any help.

One problem that occurs with alot of Yamaha carts is the air box will not get a air tight seal. This could cause your symptoms. I'm no expert
