Hi all,
First post and new G1 owner. I purchased this older model (year unknown) G1 from my grandparents. It ran and started fine when "test" driving it. I hauled it home and my daughter drove it for about 15 minutes. She stopped it and turned the key to OFF. When she turned the key back to FORWARD, it does nothing (doesn't click, try to turn over, etc.)! Fuel and oil OK. The switch does seem to be a bit worn. It "clicks" into the positions of REVERSE, OFF, and FORWARD; however, the key will continue to rotate all the way around, and around if you keep turning it. Any thoughts on possible problems. |

Welcome to the forum nozzle95......................
Yup...... For starters replace the key switch. It's bad. This is process of elimination. |

When the key keeps turning is it the cylender or the whole switch twisting and disconecting the wires on the back? Just a thought. Just a cheap thought.

Try checking the fuses. Worked for me.
