Default Lawn mower battery

Would a 12 volt lawn mower work in a g1? Im not running no extras, no music, no ext lights, thanks

It may work, but at best it would be marginal. If you were going to buy one of these for the cart, I'd pay the bit extra for the proper battery.

It will work fine,but the standard battery is definitely a better route.

Read in manual, minimum of 300 CCA. Mine for comparison, is 875 CCA.

It will work fine you don't need much battery. I ran my G9 on a jumper pack for a month last fall why buy a new battery to sit there all winter...so I didn't until spring. Then I bought a boat battery since it was only $8 more than the smallest car battery. But yes you can put the lawn batteries in that are $15-20. A car battery is nicer because they last a lot of years and 55w headlights take a lot of power you don't have to worry about it with a big battery. Most gen only charge 15A in a cart, and only at mid/high rpm.
