Around here, anywhere up to $500 in that shape.I'd start him around $150 and work from there.Guys here get $250-$400 for the rear-axle alone.

My real concern would be..why is the transaxle out? I question the rust on the input shaft! If its damaged, the best price for a new one is 300.00 for www.cartpartsplus.com and who knows what else is wrong internally. Secondary clutch parts,hubs,drums....Even with a bigblock kit, you have to have a good useable transaxle.

Where are you from in Ohio? I agree with you,as I check Craigslist daily for carts like that and never do I see a later model Yamaha like a G-16 but sometimes G-2s.

I'm from port Clinton Ohio 43452 righ on the portage river,

I think I might go look at it and if its not rusted under out i think 400 is not to bad and it's in michagan do it will be a nice ride there

And if I find used parts for it I think I can stay in budget lol

if I owned a g16 I would not have gone through the trouble to pull axle out unless it was bad. If the rear end is bad you will have closer to 1000.00 into it... LIke I said that does not look like a rolling chassis it looks like a dragger. Then there is the trouble looking for the parts that he since lost bolts linkiges etc. I guess I have just been through projects like this and with my luck to get back to a "rolling chassis it would have been cheaper buying a rolling chassis"
