Default 81 g1

can anyone tell me if any drive clutch will fit on my g1 two stroke? my clutch blew up and a new one isnt in the budget.thought about rebuilding but its pretty much used up thanks.

What exactly happened when you say "it blew up?" They also don't get "used up" very often, so please clarify.

For a G1 you can't really use just any clutch, although you might find some that will bolt up. Your cost on "any other" clutch will likely be the same or close to a G1 clutch.

Take some pics of what you have and try to show and explain what happened, maybe you can still use it? Some of the guys here are pretty good and can help guide you but we need to know exactly what your issue is.

im not sure how to put pictures on here yet? the arm that holds the weight to the clutch broke.their are three of them.just the kit to replace them is a 160.both inner and outer parts of the clutch have a belt groove in them.i dont think its worth rebuilding.

Ok. That gives a good visual. You are right, you need a new clutch. Maybe you can post in the "parts" section and ask if anyone has a used clutch. There are plenty floating around out there.

Ok. I acquired a clutch off a 2 stroke ez go. Anyone know if it will fit my g1?

Ok ive done some research and looks like my clutch is off a 84 or newer g1.It looks about the same as a g2 clutch.So does anyone have parts for that style clutch?Im looking for the weights thanks.
