Do you Synthetic oil?
What is your opinion on using Synthetic oil in my G9? 10-30 the best right?

Re: Do you Synthetic oil?
Use 10w30. Don't put anything thick in these engines because they use a splash system to oil. Can't splash molasis.
I used to use Mobil 1 10w30. It is really good oil. The only downside to switching to synthetic in a well used engine can be oil leaks. The cleaning agents in the synthetic oil can clean away deposits around seals, gaskets, etc... in a well used engine and can cause leaks in some cases. Never seen this in a golf cart but worth mentioning and noting. |
