Default G1 24hp Honda rear end?

I don’t think I have introduced myself on here, names Matt I have an 80 G1, I love this forum it has help me out a lot. I find just about every thing on here; I even found a picture on this site of my own cart before I was even a member. My cart had air ride, and 15” car rims but I just recently put it back to stock suspension. Right now IM trying to put a Honda 24 in but im not sure what rear end to use. Has anyone on here done the swap to a G1 yet?

Hey Matt, nice looking car! You can use your stock rear "diff", you just won't have reverse! SO...."STAB IT AND CRANK THE STEERING WHEEL"!!!!
Good luck Dave

Thanks, That’s how ill be turning it around but the wife wants reverse. I was also thinking if the factory starter/generator would have enough power to run the cart in reverse for long enough to turn around then let it charge in forward I could have electric reverse and gas drive.
