Default My G16 doesn't want to GO

Alright everyone...it has been almost a year since I needed to post, but now I am stuck and need some help. A couple of weeks ago my G16 was running great until 830 pm, went to bed and the next morning I jumped on and it wouldn't run. The engine turns over and acts like it is going to take off but seems to be stuck in the idle phase. The only thing that happened that night was a quick temp drop down to about 25 degrees. Since them I have been trying to figure it out, here is what I tried:
1. completely cleaned the carb
2. checked all the fuel lines and vacuum line to the fuel pump
3. cleaned the fuel pump
4. checked the fuel line in the tank
5. changed the plug
6. checked the plug spark

The only thing that seemed to make a difference is when I had the carb off, a friend was messing around and hit the gas and it seemed to run like a champ. I think it is the carb...anyone have different ideas?

Its' probably gummed up,drop the bowl and clean everything out good.A problem that keeps coming up with Ethanol is that it creates sludge, then it clogs the carb. Also, the moisture that the Ethanol attracts, and the Ethanol itself will settle to the bottom of the tank, causing real erratic running, and more chaos in the carb.Try to run the tank down as low as possible before any refuels, that way you burn all of the fuel.Hope this helps.
