Just got a G1
I just got my first golf cart, a yamamha G1, for $500.00. It is in like new condition, the seats are even like new. I was wondering if I got a good deal on it, or if I got taken? Also, I was wondering if anyone knows of any where that I could trade it in for a newer one.

Any G-1 that runs is worth $500.00. I passed up a deal, awhile back and wish I wouldn't have.  Hey if you want to sale it, how much and where are you located? |

Hello everyone, I am a new member and I too just bought a
g1. It didn't start very well when cold, but after it warmed up a bit, it ran well. . . I thought. I checked the compression and it only had about 65psi. I tore it down and both rings were broken and the landing on the piston between the ring had about a 2 " chunk out of it. I ordered a new top end kit for it and am waiting on parts. Guess it wasn't such a good deal after all. haha. Larry Hicks |
