Default G16 will not start

Just bought a '97 G16 that won't start. It turns over and will fire with ether sprayed into the carb. I have replaced all fuel/vacuum hoses and installed new spark plug. Any ideas? Which of the 3 hoses from the fuel pump connect to what?

Hi Ewarto, welcome to the forums. My first guess would have to be a gummed up carb. Before doing anything else I would pull the bowl from the bottom of the carb and clean it out. Better still, pull the carb off and O/H it. With air and fuel, it should run.

Hope this helps some.
