Hows It Do It
I have a question for everyone. My Yamaha is a 4 stroke, when you start up and drive away when, how, does the starter- generator switch over from being a starter to a generator? I have looked over all parts and wiring diagrams and can’t figure it out... It bugs me to ask because I like to think I am smarter than I am.

When the engine fires, it starts generating charge back to the battery.
