Default G1 front cowl swap

I've noticed that G1 carts share some structural similarities with the G2. Has anyone updated the G1 front cowl with a G2? I think the G2's look better in the front, and would provide a nice facelift!

Danman, I can't answer that question but if your interested in a facelift go to the Lifted Carts section and check out "My G1 Build" by GrayHorse or do a search. GrayHorse did a great job on his cowl and it looks pretty simple. Definately the direction I'm going. Good luck with your build!

None of the other models share the "exact" framework for the front cowl, although many people have swapped them. I've seen a G2, G9 swap on here. Try doing a search on those and you'll find what you're looking for. The swap will require some fab work.

Thanks abieex, I will definitely give those a look

Slonomo- I assumed it would require some fab work, but thats what makes it fun right!? I will look into the g2/9 swap!

I wish I would have thought of this before I rebuilt my front frame work. Would have been nice to have some storage underneath.
