I have a rear seat (came with the cart) but, I don't think it is the correct one for my G2.
The bars that "I think" shoud mount over the frame rails do not. Instead, they just mount to the center part of the plastic body. I'm thinkin that two 225 lbs. guys are gonna make the plastic crush down so.....I'm either going to cut and remount the rear seat frame bars or, ....well..... heck, I don't know. Either way, I'm gonna have to fix it. Great idea on the shock mounts! That shouldn't take but 10 or 15 minutes to fab up. I still want to play with some extended shocks though, I would like to find a set with the bigger coils and some more legnth. My biggest hurdle right now is trying to find the inner (metal) center pillar -It is discontinued and mine is rusted to cr*p! Looks like you can still order the right side (go figure). I also need a set of floor pans and cowl mounts. I have a line in for parts to a dealer but, they are gonna be two to three weeks out. For a change is is not 100 degrees here in TX and I would love to be working on the cart this weekend. I appreciate everyone's pointers and advice, Keep it comming!! Thanks, Kev |

Thought I better add in some pics for everyone so they can see my starting point as well as where we are right now.
Hope these are good enough to see what all needs to be done. Also, can ya'll look and see if you think that rear seat is correct for my G2 ?? |

No problem Kev. So long as you get your questions answered, that's the important part. Good luck with your build, looks like a fun one.

Yes, that is the cart Clay built. Remember we didn't buy it off Wass, we traded him for it. It still runs great, but recently had to have the frame re-welded on the front near the battery. Cracked straight through. Next time this happens it will be time for a new frame. Drove it last night and took a hit in the side rear from a drunk on a quad while on the trail. Got lucky, so far only a scratch/scrape on the rear fender area. Hope it didn't do any unseen damage.
