86 G1 Roof Top install questions
Been looking for a roof top assembly for my cart.
A friend called me and stated that he had one for a 96 Yamaha. I'm guessing this newer style roof top and hardware/supports will not a simple bolt on? I understand that the correct 86 roof assembly would tilt back when I need to get into the engine compartment. Correct? Anything I need to worry about on this swap? Thanks! |

Re: 86 G1 Roof Top install questions
I'm sure you could make it work. I built a roof for my 84 G1. I had to make a lift off roof for it. Basically the front and rear supports stay bolted in place and the roof is unbolted and removed allowing the body to tilt back.

That sound do-able with wingnuts. Not like I need to liftup the hatch that often.
