golf cart smokes once hot

i have a 92 yamaha golf cart. i was told it is a g2 not sure about that.
it runs fine until it gets hot then it smokes so bad u cant see anything
im not a mechanic and dont have anywhere close that works on carts
any help would be greatly appreciated

Is it lifted?, check your oil level.

Chances are its time to do the pistion rings on it, im starting to see a fair bit of g2,g9's come in smoking badly.

not lifted oil may be a little full shows being at max line

I have heard that some of the markers on the dipsticks were off on the G2. It could have too much oil.

Is there oil in the air box and air filter ?

Leetac, do you by any chance have a compression tester?

Also how long has it been smoking for, did it just start happining or, progressively got worse? Did you just get the cart.

it was too full of oil drained all oil out and restarted with new qrt. and no more smoking.
i just got the cart to have something to ride around neighberhood.
it will take alot of work to get back to running good thank you all.

I have a G-1 that smoked when hot. I pinched off the oil injector hose and started mixing my gas 50:1 and it works fine now. The oil injection went haywire.
