Default Review on updated Yamaha power kit

I have been testing a new spring for the secondary clutch in my G2 for Tom at CPP. All I can say is it is perfect and much better than the spring I got first. Tom said this is the one he will now sell as the power kit. The original spring I got from him kept the cart revved up all the time. The updated spring is 3/4" shorter and the same stiffness as the other one. I can still climb every hill with ease and the engine is very docile and not revved up as much. I think it also give my topend speed back. Thanks Tom!!!!!!

Thanks for your review! I also have tried aftermarket secondary springs. Jakes was the original and they were great. Then tried some others and had the same affect you had. Tom does not sell "junk", I'm shure if he had problem with a suppliers part, he would "NOT" sell it again. On a funny note: When I purchased one aftermarket spring (for CHEAP) I had to use a 2x4 and a extra freind to "compress" it to get the rest of the parts togeather. I will never do that again. Later Dave
