belt noise

i just finished the putting the power spring on , the belt seems to make alot more noise, i didn't put the back cover on yet is this normal belt untill the belt sets in

You didn't say anything wrong in my book. Sometimes questions are asked that are to complicated to respond to, and a reply would would not awnser your question. My question would be ...Are you running a "stock" Yamaha belt and is it new or used ? Keep asking questions! Later dave

yes it's a stock belt it almost seems to tight
