Default Plowmans New G16 Clutch Kit

Titled New g16 clutch kit but has probably been out for a while, any of you guys running this? I'm not sure about all the springs they have showing, do they come with it or do you tell them what you're looking for in performance and they pick out the right spring or what? I talked to them a little on the phone but did not have a chance to ask about springs..he had me sold on the kit just above this one with the breather and jets till I looked on their site again and found one without that stuff. I can do that later if I need to, I just want to pull a small trailer around yard for limbs and be able to climb small inclines with four people on it.

PlowMans will set you up depending on your application. He will tell you what you need, don't need, and why.The G16 with the Govenor by-pass,will do quite a bit,My Wifes' is lifted,21" tires, gov.bypass, and nothing else. Its' got quite a bit of power,I can't imagine how good it would be if the clutches were setup. He won't sell you what doesn't work,Trust his suggestions.

I have Plowmans clutch kit. He will ask what you use the cart for, size of tires and the type of terrain (off road?). He will supply you with the proper spring for your requirements. I have the yellow spring with 20 inch tires. Cart can pull out of any ditch that I put it in and top speed increased as well. It was money well spent.

I have a complete Plowman drive train in my G16. Plowman 301cc engine, both clutches with the "Hot Setup", belt, gov by pass...everything.

I am very pleased with the performance. No lift with stock size tires the is running right at 34 mph. This should still improve a little.

I put the hot set up and the clutch kit on my G16. What a difference! Running high 30's with a 6 inch lift and lots more mid range power. You won't be disappointed.

Isn't it about time you built a new cart? Hope you are doing well.

You should put a tach on that thing it must be screaming or they have more gear. I only get 31gps at 5K rpm with a G9 and 22s that measure 23.

I been running my cart with the clone here at home in the snow, except it pretty much all melted now and its really nasty out.

BTW I would also recommend Plowmans!

Does the Plowman's g16 clutch kit come with both sheaves? It shows them in the picture on their site, was wondering if it always came with both, or only if they decided you needed both of them for your set up?

Got my Plowman's kit in the mail today, cant wait to get started on the install. Is the airbox carb mod very difficult? it looks a little intimidating in the instructions.
