Default Drive Clutch G2

I don't have a manual so I'm not sure so can someone tell me how the drive clutch comes off. It appears that the outside cover needs to come off and some type of puller is used. I this correct? Any help is appreciated.

Do I need the special tool or will a bolt work? I've got about every type of puller known to man but never worked on carts before now. Gee, maybe a blower driver puller for a Detroit 12V 92 will work on it-- LOL

If you have a stock Yamaha clutch...Take the screws that hold the gold colored cap off. There is a bolt, use an impact wench (lossen is counter clockwise) and the floating flange assy will slide off. NOW you need a special puller to get the fixed sheave off the crankshaft (it is "swedged" onto the tayperd crank shaft). There are threads in the end of the fixed sheave (sorry I dont know the thread size or pitch) If you found a bolt that would thread in, you could use a "hard steel" rod that is a smaller diameter than the original bolt you took out (you dont want to damage the threads or the end of the crank), I would not recomend any other method. Good luck Dave
