Default G1 rings

Trying to install new rings and no go, i tried useing hose clamp, ties, no luck, were can i buy a ring comp for this size? Ready to give up on it, thanks

You should not need any form of ring compressor for these.
Take a look in the ring grooves, each groove has a pin embedded that locates the ring so it will not spin and get hung up in a port. The ends of the rings themselves have a notch that mates with the pin, if your rings are upside down in the groove the ring can not compress enough to fit the bore.
I should mention the pin is not centered in the groove.

Once you have the rings lined up correctly with the pins then you just need to compress them with your fingers located in the cutouts for the transfer ports, The barrel should now fit over the rings and piston.
Do not force them.
Try not to pinch your finger tips when the barrel comes down, you won't like that.

thanks for the reply, got it done, unhooked the piston and put rings on, worked great, no problem getting it back together, thanks
