Default getting ready to lift a G1

In what order do things get done? going to go with 400 shocks all around, I'll be getting these first. Does the engine need to be pulled for 5" of lift and 22's for bending the frame for clearance? I'm hoping to have everything done and then put the wheels and tires on last.

And am I looking for an upgraded clutch spring because of the bigger tires?

No need to pull engine to install lift however you will need to dent frame for clutch clearence.I pulled my gas tank which made this process easier.

Yep,the frame will need clearance for the Clutch-Bolt.You need more than a set of shocks for the lift, unless you want the front-tires like this / \

So what's the way to get bolt clearance?

I'll need the clutch kit, low end power is more important than racing around.

And Pachanga, how soon on the G1 kit

mwar, two schools of thought on the frame. One method is to cut out a small area of the frame and then weld it closed (notch) and the other is to heat it up and dent it. Since I seemed to have blown completely past this step I'll need to get it done tomorrow. I believe I'll heat and bend since I'm not big on cutting frames of any kind.
