Road Rash...I'll take for granted you have a later model car. Take the screws holding the gold cap on/take the bolt out with an impact (counter clock wise) and the floating flange and weights and spider assy will slide off the fixed sheave. The "pins" and "set screws" hold the weights to the floating flange and spider. Use a propane torche to loosen up the "loctite" on the set screws....if you "strip" a set screw...your "screwed"! I have made many posts on this and I still recommend changing the weight kits and pins and spider if needed, rather than going aftermarket clutch assy, but it is your choice. If your "sider" is damaged at the area that the pin/weight/plastic washers assemble..I would change the spider also. I would replace all (3) weights at the same time too. Useually weight "explossion" was caused by over greasing. Hope this helps Dave
