g1 oil pump
Just wondering if i dont use the oil pump can i leave the gear and pump plate off since i mix my gas
|

You can remove the pump and the gear but nothing else. The "plate" helps hold in the crankshaft oil seal. If you remove the gear you'll need to make a plate to cover where the pump mounts. If the pump is in working order why replace it? Good luck.
