G1 Steering wheel
I see where I can spend a few bucks on an adapter and APC or similar steering wheel.
Does anyone know for sure if a newer Yami steering wheel (like a G22) or if the Rhino steering wheel fits on the splines for the G1? I want to put a nicer steering wheel on, and like the Yamaha Rhino wheel. |

The Rhino steering wheel will fit a G16. Pretty sure all the splines on Yamaha's are the same.

I am thinking so...but wondered just in case. I like the Rhino wheel, and can get one for about $30.

Yep, put one on my G9. Lot nicer than the factory cart one.

Just put one on my G1.It said fits all Yamaha's and Rhino's.Looks a lot nicer than the white stock ones.

I painted my G1 steering wheel flat black and 5 coats of clear. For the circular opening in the center, I inserted a circular blind spot mirror that fits snug and perfect. Cost $12.00 and it's original. Pardon my dust in the picture, I'm working on my cart getting ready for spring/summer.

It looks nice painted with the mirror. I thought about painting the wheel, but it has cracks in the spokes and I like the Rhino wheel.
