Default Just purchased a used 09 drive..need clutch sugestions

Cart was purchased from a yamaha dealer that ordered bulk quantities of used carts that come from up north where golf is played only 6 months. It has the jakes lift kit and some 12" wheels with the 22" sahara tires. I already did the 10mm nut adjustment for more top speed. Cart runs great and starts easy. The clutching seems a bit sloppy. Is there any improvement I can do to the clutch for better acceleration or maybe a tutorial on disassembling the clutch for cleaning and greasing the rollers. I don't have another cart similar to the one I bought to compare the acceleration to and this is my first cart so I'm a newbie. Just any tips for better and smoother performance would be appreciated.

The "Team" clutchs are not very good. www.erlandsontechnology.com has all kind of options,IE-complete primary and secondary and belt kits or just the "stronger" secondary spring that really make a differance. You will first need to know if your car has the "drilled out" secondary, Erlandson made a "fix" for Yamaha, but you can only get that through a Yamaha dealer. Post or PM me your serial# and I can check if it was done. Might check with Tom at CPP (site sponsor) to see if he sells the kits or maybe Plowmans (a site sponsor also). 2 things I will recommend to you, on a regular basis, remove the floor mat and pedal access panel, clean and lubricate the pedal assy and check and torque the rear axle nuts. Good luck with your new toy

thanks for the response. also when really hammering down on the gas pedal there is a bogging feeling then she takes off good. don't know if this is normal or not being a first time gas cart owner. also the exhaust fumes get pretty strong inside the cart while riding
