Default HELP PLEASE! G16 Sway Bar/Body Twisted Problem

I bought my cart already lifted, it's is a 1999 G16 gas. From what I can gather, it's the All Sports kit. Here's the issue: I believe the that sway bar is extremely bent (see pic) and the body seems to be twisted on the frame of the cart. Note, the rear tires do not fit evenly spaced in the wheel wells (see pics). The back of the right rear tire rubs on the well, as the front of the left tire rubs on the well. Conversely, there is a lot of space between the front of the right rear tire and the well, as the back of the left rear tire. I hope I'm not making this more complicated than it appears, but I really want to convey the problem.

Since I didn't install the lift, I don't REALLY know what it should look like back there. Does anyone know? Is the bent rod part of the lift kit, or is it the factory 'connecting rod'? Is this the part? JN6-F2172-00-00 ROD, CONNECTING 2

I don't know if the bent rod is the culprit, or just part of a larger problem. I have definitely carried a lot of weight on the back of the cart (a couple of few people) over the years.

Has anyone out there ever encountered this problem? Any input will be graciously received!

Thanks!
Kevin

Thanks man. Do you think that is the root of the problem with the body not lining up with the tires?

Thanks. Does anyone know if that sway bar is the factory part I referenced in my OP? I don't really have a way to straighten that other one out, and a new one is only $35. Is it possible that it came as part of the lift kit?

That is a stock factory Yamaha bar. A new one should straighten everything out.

I have the same problem and took my hours to figure out, until I found this post. Confirming a new sway bar indeed fixed the problem?

Yes, it will. I straightened one by placing each end on a 4x4, and used an 8lb sledge to straighten. It's more or less straight. Crude, but it worked.

Same here. Not perfectly straight but good enough to align the body.
