Tire size limited on G2/9 in the rear. If you remove/relocate the rear outboard bumper mounts and then move the swingarm back a little bit you can fit 25s minimum. That much lift you really should lower the swingarm because the angle gets huge, so its not hard to move it rearward at same time. If you don't do that you have to lift it really high and chop the rockers back, be careful of stability and the engine/trans will be on a huge angle. IMO the suspension does not even work as well because of the angle. The front has a fair amount of room as anything more than a budget lift should move the arms forward to fit 22s or they hit the frame by the floor. I moved them 2" or so and it has lots of room with 22s and its not lifted that high- floor is 18" high. My tires measure 23 tall with 10 or more psi in them. Also didn't think to widen the front when I lifted it, it would have more room. Full compression my tire gets close to the plastic. In the rear I can just fit a finger between the front and rear of the tire, its close.

Thanks Sho. I know the Jakes LT will move the front out and wider. As far as the rear, I know I'll have to drop and move the swingarm back. I gotta figure that out when it gets lifted. Is there anything limiting how much I can move it back? I want the tire to look proportional in the wheelwell. I may have to move the swingarm back 4 or 5 inches and drop at least 2 or 3 inches to rock 25's.

Evidently nobody is riding the Jakes LT on a g2 or 9. Guess I'll have to break that cherry.

I was very impressed with the Jakes LT on my big ezgo and will stay true to them.

I'm hoping Jakes will chime in and give an idea of how far out and how much wider it will change the car.

Yeah Boke, I will be dropping my swingarm 6" and moving it back 4". It will be also on a single Heim joint for articulation. I would send Jakes a PM on here to get a tire size. I would guess 25" for stock...

I would guess many people move it back 2", if it fits a 22 that would fit a 26 to the rocker. Many just weld ears that stick down and back to remount the swingarm. Since it does not articulate you will have to put a panhard or three link or something on it to locate the cradle if you heim the front.

The only thing behind it aside from the plastic body opening and bumper is the bumper mounts off the frame. You take those out and its open behind the tire. The wheelwells are easy to modify, you can wire them back or heat and bend them....if you even need to, and with a higher lift you will be away from them.

On my 8" lift I built for my cart I dropped the swing arm 4" ,and I think I only moved the arm backwards around an 1" to keep the 24" tires centered in the wheel well like factory. Now this includes the already angled swingarm from the previous 4" lift.Everything seems to look good and all that may need to be done is trim the factory mud flap that hangs down to keep from rubbing during suspension cycles.

You da man supra4life28. I forgot about your cart using the LT.

Can you take a few pics, one of the front straight on and a straight side view of the cart?

And did you do any modification to the rear swingarm? Like dropping it or extending in rearward?

Thanks for chiming in with some pics.

Someone on here did a 3 link that partially articulates, I think the outside arms are not on heims and they twist a little. Think I saved it. For the trail riding I do full articulation is scary. But if I don't do this cart I will the next.
