Re: Dust!!!
Dust in the engine? That's a filtering issue.

Re: Dust!!!
A 2-stroke won't last but a few hours if it had 'dust' inside the engine. He's gotta be talking about the engine bay.

Re: Dust!!!
haha not inside the engine but in every nook and cranny surrounding the engine. i did blow it out with compressed air once a week but that fine dust just keeps finding a spots to hide. i am thinking of putting some sheet metal down and possibly creating a scoop for the bay to keep the air circulating. not a clean freak but the dust sure is bad here...

Re: Dust!!!
Hmmm, I wonder if you're cart has a "negative charge" like static? If it's not grounded right? It could be "attracting" dust like a magnet, kinda like the "Swiffer" commercial! LOL

Re: Dust!!!
The cure for this is called irrigation. Make the desert wet, plant grass. leave some sandy spots and stick a bunch of little holes in the ground,
The cart will be relaxed and feel at home and you can sell tickets and bunches of guys & gals will come around and make you rich as they get frustrated trying to find where they whacked some little ball too. |

Re: Dust!!!
There is a possibility that the cart is making some static electricity and attracting more dust than normal. It wouldn't hurt to attach a short piece of chain to the frame so that some of it touches the ground.
It can't hurt. But it just might be the area you are in. Bob T |
