new g16 owner build thread.......
To start off you guys have a great forum here. Ive been reading a lot over the last few weeks. I picked up a 96 g16 for $500 not running and I have no idea how long this thing has been sitting. I got it home put a hot battery in it and nothing so I pulled the starter opened her up cleand and sanded the brushes. I put it all back on and she fired right up. Ran her down the road everything felt good other then some noise in the rear end.
Soooo since it seemed to work like it should out came the jack stands and apart she came. |

New battery tray
New wheels and tires Had some issues with the lift I ordered a LT kit from a local golf cart shop and waited 3weeks then found out the shocks are on backorder. So he worked a deal and got the kit coming without the shocks. I ordered some LT shocks from all sport they seem to be nicer then the jakes shocks. |
