Radio Install - 12V Regulate
I am interested in an install of a radio, I can't find this answer
anywhere - but what about regulation, when cart is in motion the voltage increases so what do you use to regulate this as to not burn the radio |

Re: Radio Install - 12V Regulate
I have a 1998 EZGO 36 volt. I hooked up the POS.(from the radio) to the first battery in the sequence & the NEG to the second battery. Is been 4 months now w/ no issues.
Not saying its the way it should be done, just how I did it. |

Re: Radio Install - 12V Regulate
Look at this way, your car is 12 volt system and so is your cart. Your car's charging system is 14.5 to 15.5 volts, so is the carts. The only problem I have ever ran into is the memory in the radio can have a slow drain on a sitting battery. No worries...install the tunes
