Found this bolt in my drive way??
Guys I found this bolt in my drive way. Never seen a bolt quite like this before. The head is 13mm. The end of the bolt is rounded with no threads about 1/4" from the end before the threads start. The end of the bolt isn't damaged it was made this way. The only vehicles that use my drive is a 2013 gmc sierra, 2012 Chevy malibu, 2010 Chevy HHR , and my yamaha g29 cart. Any ideas if it came from the cart or one of the vehicles.

Also a exmark zero turn lawn mower but I checked the law mower and don't see anything under it missing or out of place.

Check the brake calipers on your vehicles.

Re: Found this bolt in my drive way??
It's one of the 4 bolts that secure the bag rack/seat back assembly.

Re: Found this bolt in my drive way??
Yes it's the same exact bolts that hold the rear seat rack into place. My cart has all 4 of these bolts in place though. Is it possible that when the dealer removed the rear seat kit and reinstalled the bag rack that he may have dropped this bolt somewhere in the engine area and over time it bounced out? The dealer wanted an extra 600$ is why I told them to remove the rear seat since I can get one around 315$ shipped. Just glad it's not a brake caliper bolt though on one of the vehicles.
