I saw a post about using a chrysler or ford auto ignition, the older ones that used a module plugged into a distributor. But they don't advance the ignition like a tci. A G2 or G9 usually has a white/red wire that is the hot from the pedal switch, it runs everything the coil/ignitor/solenoid. You have the crank trigger to the ignitor and power and ground. In the stikies at top of forum there is a post about wiring diagrams.
