Starter switch adjustment
My starter does not engage until the gas pedal is all the way to the floor. Is that right? How do you adjust? Thanks

Re: Starter switch adjustment
Switch is on the pedal under there on most yamaha, most of them you can screw it/the nut in/out to adjust. Most you pull the floor up to get at them. They can get full of dirt and cause problems also. Also check the belt tension for the generator some you can't hear they slip then get hot and start turning the engine later.
