Default My '85 G2 project with a upLifting future

Hello from RI!! I just purchased an 85 G2 this past Tuesday and am really exited to fix her up. The end plan is to set it up for offroading so I can run with my friends and family that already have carts.

I've been lurking for quite a while and did a little work on the cart this weekend. Here is what it looked like when purchased.

Well.. OK. I guess I will post the pics in a few days when the grace period is over.

Paint is done. Governer is bypassed. Bought headlights and tail lights for it.( need them for the campground I am going to)

I am in the process of shopping for a lift and rims/tires . I am happy to say that as a result of searching around the forum, I know the lift I am going with.

I then added headlights, tail lights and an aooga horn(loud!!). There is a double 12v marine power outlet too. I also added a marine fuse and switch plate.

This past weekend I went camping up in New Hampshire where they had a golf cart race weekend. I came in second for the stock class!!!

Loaded for the trip up!!

My son and I with the 2nd place trophy:
