G9 1995 windshield delima

I have a 1995 G9 Yamaha Gas cart that I am trying to locate a windshield that will fit. I have contacted a Yamaha dealer and a couple of the sponsors with no luck on locating a windshield.

When I contacted the dealer I was told that this cart did not come with a factory installed roof and was added by the dealers.

The web sites say that the windshield is 40 inches wide by 34 tall. The front roof supports on my cart are 37 inches at the bottom and 37 1/2 inches at the top,the supports are 1 inch wide, so, the ones advertised for this year cart will not fit. By checking the various sponsors websites I have found that a Club Car Precedent is 37 inches wide, but, is contoured at the bottom to line up with the body of the Club Car.

Has anyone ran into this problem and if so, how was it resolved? Would I be better off replacing the front roof supports, if possible, with the 40 inch width.

Don't know what I'm talking about, but I'd call Tom at "Cartpartsplus" vender on here.
