Back Fire problem
I have a G14A that recently started backfiring when the engine comes to rest. Any suggestion on eleviating this problem

Adjust your throttle linkage
The fire as to come of first & quit at the end When you press the throttle the solenoid should come on just before the linkage on the carburetor moves 1/2 inches of play should do it Sometime people try to get speed from linkage instead on the governor good luck |

Throttle on carb. is not closing all the way when you let off the pedal. Check the adjustment of the throttle cable and make sure your not missing the little return spring that closes the throttle.
