Default Is this a G1 or G2 motor?

Cant tell what motor this is, looks like a G1 but never have seen the fan side cover on this motor...

G1. Should have 215cc cast into the case.

does anyone know what year motor this is by looking at it? im buying it for $125 and it ran when pulled.

Because it has the "baffle box" above intake manifold and the older style primary clutch, I'd have to say 1983. Good G1 (higher compression engine compared to 1982) engine, if you have all the exhaust valve linkage

No, it looks like it's all there except for the link/rod/joints from the side rod to the carb.

I was referring to the exhaust pipe and starter and stuff :)
