G2 backfire problem
Hi guys I've got a 92 I think model g2. If you hold the gas pedal at a certain throttle you can watch the solenoid kick in and out and when it does it backfires. Any ideas on what would cause this, thanks for any help.

Re: G2 backfire problem
Carb. is opening before the motor starts turning over. Should be the other way around. (Turn over, then carb. starts to open.) So its a throttle cable adjustment.

Re: G2 backfire problem
Cant tell ya for sure, I completely bypassed the gov on mine. But I did do mine at the carb. Because that was the only place to adjust.
