Fun isnt it?! These carts can be made very trail competent and they have beer holders too. That's a win win.

Absolutely! Im using this for hunting, and it is really a lot of fun taking my 4year old out to camp and driving in and out on this thing, its a long drive down some pretty challenging trails, we have a blast.

I did install a seat belt for my son.

You have any issues with the mud getting on the clutches causing slippage.

NO surprisingly it stayed very clean in the engine compartment, I went through the mud at a slow speed, if I was really going fast or going through deep water I'm sure it would have, between the lift and tires the belt typically is quite a bit higher than any mud our water I would go through.

Im thinking about fabbing up some type of skid plate for underneath hhe belt and clutches to prevent as much mud water and dirt from flying up onto these componants. Ive got some 1/4" hdpe plastic sheet that should do the job.

I will most likely do something similar, Wal Mart was selling some plastic that you use to bag leaves, it would be perfect to make a skid plate with, could probably make short work of it with my Drimmel.

At my local walmart it was in the lawn and garden area, I always go in that way because I can park closer to the door, it was right outside the door, its a large piece of black plastic, I guess it holds the bag open so you can bag the leaves.
