Default How to get more power out of 357cc G29

Anyone know what I can do to the Engine in my G29 to increase horse power?
It runs good, but anything to give it edge.

Really do not want to swap the engine.

Mississippi g29 what year cart do you have?? If you have a 07-early 2012 don at plowmans has some nice engine and clutch mods that will make you cart a whole new animal. If you have a 2012.5 through 2014 cart whether it be carb or efi he has some mods comming soon that he is in the testing process because of the new clutch setup. He also is working on some tuners so that the fuel injection system can be tuned for proper fuel delivery after doing air box mod and governor adjustments.

My cart is a 09, I checked out the link, and saw some pretty interesting performance mods.

Thanks, What kind of cart do you have?

I had a 2009 g29 just like you with 6" lift and 23" tires. Sold it to a hunting club friend for a nice sum and went and bought the wife and kids a new 2013 g29. The 2013 has a different clutch setup for better performance and longer lasting. Just not any mods yet from plowmans yet but hopefully soon.

This cart only has the 3" lift so its easier to get in and out when the parents and inlaws take the kids riding.

Nice Cart, I am interested in the Cam, and jets, wonder how much performance those mods would really give you?

So your new one is fuel injected right? I would imagine that you have good factory performance.

I just installed a brand new Team primary clutch, and installed a heavy duty 2ndary clutch spring and new Drive belt and I must say that my cart drives like a completely different machine, my clutch system is dialed in. The new drive belt I bought was probably almost twice as wide as the one I took off.
