Default G9 Fuel door replacement?

Has anyone used the diamond plate fuel door replacement that is on Ebay? http://cgi.ebay.com/YAMAHA-GOLF-CART-G2-G9...1QQcmdZViewItem
Any other tips on a replacement fuel door would be great. I bought a new one but it looks like it will break after a couple of times being open and closed. My cart is still in the body shop for paint and I hate to have the paint guy put color on it just to have it break in a few days.

Thanks
David

The plastic hing looks pretty weak on the replacement door. I put one on mine 2 years ago and it's still ok!!

I wouldn't buy anything off eBay. They have screwed me over soooo many times I get worked up to even hear the word "eBay."

I agree, they do look weak but somehow seem to last for a long time. I think most of the stock replacement doors are only around $5 or so anyway.

Thanks for the replies.
My main issue with the possibility of the stock door breaking is the paint. I know they will have a hard time matching it if it breaks after a couple of years. If it wasn't for that I would not be concerned with just buying the Yamaha doors.
Does anyone know what type of hinge the guy uses on that gas lid. I could make one if I could figure out what type of hinge to use. I have a lot of diamond plate in the garage I am going to make the flat parts with. I just don't have a metal break to bend any corners with.

tungpo1,
What type of diamond plate pates do you sale? I would like to have a set of the rocker covers.

Thanks again,
David

That hinge on ebay looks like plastic also. I'm sure you could find some type of hinge you could mod at Lowes or some hardware store.

Pm tungpo1 in case he doesn't see your post. He will be more than happy to help out.

I looked at Lowe's but could not find anything that looked like it would work. They had piano hinge but I wanted to keep it cleaner than a bunch of pop rivets all over the place.
Thanks again,
David

I wanted to install one of these, but can't find 8" x 8" square.

Ron,
That would look awesome. If you find a square one pick me one up at the same time.
